I have friends who own the Drop Inn Bar, called Ali and Erol.  The bar is usually open lunch time and does not close till after 4am.  It is a family bar and plays a range of music.  It is located in Old Town near to the centre, just down from the Surtel Hotel on the Sea Front.

They do REAL cocktails in there not substitute!  They do a range of lagers including the traditional efes, Bud, Becks, Carlsberg and Miller.  They also do a bottled cider and Smirnoff ice. 

The taxi driver that I use is also a friend of theirs called Alaattin. You can usually get the Drop Inn to book you a taxi from there late at night, but if you want to book yourself call 0090535 221 6685 (mobile) or 0090 256 614 46 96.  Just say Julies house on ladies beach and he will know where to go even if you don’t.  However, he speaks very good English and his taxi is roomy and air conditioned.
