MY INFORMATION

Only shop at the local supermarkets for odds and ends.  For a big shop for your stay go to Migros or Tansas supermarket, it is much cheaper there.  You can get on one of the buses there too and get a taxi back.  There is a Friday market in the centre which sells very cheap fruit and vegetables and some other bits, also on a Wednesday there is a clothes market.  There is also a Tuesday market outside the centre.

I definitely recommend a boat trip during your stay and if you enjoy water parks then Aqua Fantasy or Adaland is a nice day out.  Also I enjoyed Diyaman restaurant, in Davultar, it is in a beautiful area, nice walk with lots of animals. If you fancy a day out to millipark then this restaurant is on the way back to Kusadasi.

Also I recommend a Turkish night at the Caravanserail/Kervansaray.  A Jeep Safari is good fun too, but make sure you book the one that goes to a typical Turkish village for wine tasting, its by far the best I have been on.

Old Town is a nice area for a drink.

DON’T TAKE TRAVELLERS CHEQUES THEY CHARGE A LOT TO EXCHANGE THEM.

Goods buys are fake clothes, leather, cigarettes and tobacco.

Also barter for clothes etc., in shops and in the markets.  Start at half of what their asking price is.
